Blogging, how I've missed you!

It's been so long since I've written a blog. Ever since I stopped using myspace, I haven't been keeping up with my blogs, and I miss it! So, here I am, writing you all a new blog!

Life in the last year sure has changed in the last year. One year ago at this time I was 9 months pregnant and my blood pressure began to rise. I was put on bedrest and eventually induced. My inducement resulted in a c-section, but in the end I had a healthy and big baby boy on May 28, 2009! I still remember Gavin's cry for the first time, it brought tears to my eyes.

Becoming a mommy has been the best thing to happen to me. There's no love like a mother's love. You hear that saying all the time, but you don't know the real meaning behind it until you are a mother.

I know there will be days ahead when Gavin becomes a hormonal teenager and will probably drive me nuts, as did I my parents, but he will always be my son and I will love him unconditionally no matter what. Gavin, I promise to always protect you, and to do everything in my power to make you happy. You make me and your father so happy. I don't even remember what life without you is like, because any life without you isn't a happy one.<3
